Commercial Market Update – Melbourne Units Cityscope

Sales recorded for Melbourne Units Cityscope for the three months to May 2016 totalled $178.9 million, a decrease from the $314.9 million recorded to February 2016 and from the $229.4 million recorded to November 2015. The latest data brings the twelve month sales total to $902.4 million, a decrease from the previous twelve months, which recorded sales of $1.551 billion.

The table below shows sales recorded for the past eight updates of Melbourne Units Cityscope.

Some notable sales featured in the May 2016 update of Melbourne Units Cityscope include:

  • 47 units in The William at 199 William Street, Melbourne, a 24 storey serviced apartment and residential complex, which sold in one line for approximately $20.23 million;
  • Unit 5401 in Abode 318 at 302-324 Russell Street, Melbourne, which sold with two car parking spaces for $2.475 million; and
  • Unit 2 at 79-81 Franklin Street, Melbourne, a 407 sqm unit with two car parking spaces, which sold for $2.05 million.
