Commercial Auction Results – Week ending 20 March 2016

Commercial auction volumes remained relatively steady last week, with 40 reported results compared to 44 the previous week. Over the week ending March 18, 50.0 per cent of commercial auctions were successful, slightly higher than 47.7 per cent the previous week but lower than one year ago, when 61.7 per cent of auctions were successful. Activity across the commercial auction market over the past four weeks shows that 203 auctions have been held with just over half (102) resulting in a sale. Of the 102 sales, 75 have been reported with a value of just over $131.3 million.
